As a traditional comic book artist, Tonny brings stories to life with precision and passion. With a preference for working with high-quality paper (180gsm and above), technical drawing pens, wooden pencils, sable brushes, and India ink, he crafts detailed and immersive visuals that captivate audiences. Since embarking on his artistic journey in 2023, he has honed his skills through diligent practice and a deep appreciation for the comic book medium. Comic books serve as a rich source of inspiration, offering a wealth of references and techniques to learn from and grow as an artist. As a visual storyteller, he is driven by the joy of creating art that challenges him and pushes him beyond his comfort zone. His goal is to continue developing his craft, exploring new ideas, and bringing compelling stories to life through his art. -- Natasha W. Muhanji is a Kenyan writer, editor and cultural worker.
